ilikewtfilikesoswerve asked: Hi i was wondering if it was possible to do the peplum diy by hand stich
if you’re good at hand stitching then yeah why not? :D and you can also try glue or iron on strips!
@empty-tomorrow: yeah i’ll keep my beginner sewers in mind! :)
@raspberrywhispers: aww thank you <3 :’)
@anon: mmm…written instructions make things so confusing lol. but i would just fold the shorts in half and trace the front half and cut 2 pieces of the front half, then fold the shorts in half the other way so you can trace the backside and cut 2 pieces as well. then just piece the shorts together by sewing the sides, front crotch area, and back butt area…yeah super confusing! sorry
@hammbone11: i buy my fabric from Joann’s and Walmart, thrift stores also have fabric! you’d be surprised at the fabric they carry sometimes. If I ever go a fabric district then, I also purchase some fabric there because they sell for cheap. But nearby I just go to Walmart or Joann’s! If you’re looking for spandexy material, you should even considering thirfting for clothes that have that material and then recreating them into your dance costume!! :D good luck xoxo
